| Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to change the hotel for the 2025 Georgia Legislative Advocacy Conference. Our room block is now at REVERB by Hard Rock in downtown Atlanta. The room rates remain the same, but you will now be able to make your reservations directly with the hotel. Reservations must be made by January 28th. A shuttle service from the REVERB hotel to the conference meeting location at the Georgia Municipal Association Building and the Capitol will be provided. Georgia has a long and rich history of advocacy for school nutrition. Georgia School Nutrition programs would not lead the nation if it were not for our Georgia State Legislators working side by side with GADOE School Nutrition and our members!
Join us in the heart of the city as we continue the tradition of building relationships and educating our legislative representatives on the importance of School Nutrition.
Attending the GA LAC will help you advocate for meaningful change and policies that affect school nutritional programs.
Don’t miss this opportunity to network with your peers, meet with your representatives and ask them to partner with us as we continue the mission of “Building Healthy Children, Ready to Learn”.
Sessions will start at 9:00 am on Tuesday, February 4th with small group round table discussions and legislative training. Our legislative program will cover how to be an advocate for your cause, how to conduct a legislative visit as well as discussions on retirement funding and the GSNA 2025 legislative issues.
We will visit our legislators on Wednesday, February 5th. You must schedule your OWN legislative visits. Note: Legislators May Not be in session during our meeting, as their calendar is subject to change. You should still make your appointments with them!
The meeting location, the Georgia Municipal Association Building (201 Pryor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303) is .04 miles from the state capitol.
